In the interest of tracking where leads were from, it was essential to create UTM codes for specific instances. In my role, I created unique UTM codes for social posts, the email signature file (180 clicks), mailers, newsletters, and newscast show notes. UTM tracking allowed for targeted findings for post-event reporting and best practices. Each UTM was created based on its function and tracked in Monday.

To gain traction with the event and push for registration, 9 several targeted mailers were sent to a list of over 100,000 subscribers. Each mailer had unique subject lines and information to highlight. In addition, a release cadence was established based on industry research with proven results. The average open rate was 26.4%, the average click rate was 3.8%, and there were over 10,000 forwards. 

A big push on social media was needed to drive registration to the event. A Monday board was created to track all social posts by time, date, message, tags, category, and graphics. Graphics for social were created personalized for different speakers, sponsors, and highlights. Meltwater was used for scheduling and tracking. Day-of tweets were created for speaker quotes and driving traffic to the site.

Project management boards were created in Monday to track social media, sponsors, speakers, and the overall promo plan. SEO was completed for the website and optimal social tagging. Lastly, there was an emphasis on working with other teams to make the project a success.
